Southeast Florida Crime Prevention Association
The FCPA is proud to honor the Southeast Florida Crime Prevention Association as the 2009 Crime Prevention Association of the year. Formed in 1969, the SFCPA is comprised of members from Broward, Dade, and Monroe Counties.

In 2009 the association held a raffle to assist members in attending the FCPA State Training Conference, allowing members whose department could not send them for the training to attend.
The association has hosted several local training sessions including CPTED, Basic Lighting for Law Enforcement, Bank Robbery, Child Safety and the Live Safe Program.
They have partnered with local media, Channel 10 in Miami to host a news segment called Neighborhood Crime Alert. This allows hundreds of thousands to receive crime prevention tips and alerts.
